Jon Boats for Sale

Jon boats for sale on this page are the flat-bottom aluminum boats that hunters and anglers rely on for shallow creeks, marshes, ponds and backwater rivers. The square bow and flat hull give a lot of usable floor space for the size, and they sit very low in the water, so they are easy to launch, paddle or push off a mud bank. Many owners run them with a small tiller outboard or a trolling motor. When choosing a jon boat, compare length and beam, bottom width, hull gauge, whether the hull is welded or riveted, and the rated horsepower on the capacity plate. Wider bottoms are steadier for standing; longer hulls carry more gear.
